First of all, this is not a genealogy website. Rather it's a website about remembering. These will be my memories and hopefully the memories of others that will tell the stories of some remarkable people.

None of the people here were famous, but I beleive that it's important to preserve the memories that we have and pass them on to our children and grandchildren.

For the most part they were just ordinary people. Many of them were farmers, some worked in the cotton mills, a few owned grocery stores, and a number of them taught school. All of them worked hard, raised families, went to church, attended school and lived their lives much as we do today. A lot of them fought in our wars while others supported their efforts here at home.
